Our Service and Support team does much more than repair your cameras, lighting and computers. Our Mac and PC certified technicians, installers, and electronics and mechanical repair technicians provide a wide range of services. They will set up, configure and install computer equipment, install studio lighting on-site, perform preventive maintenance on your computer, clean camera CCDs and much more — we even provide our customers with free technical phone support.

Repair estimates take from one to three weeks. Once the estimate is approved, the repair can take an additional one to two weeks. Emergency and quick turnaround service can sometimes be arranged at customer request. Any provided completion dates are not guaranteed and are intended as a guideline only. Some manufacturers levy an Estimate Refusal Fee. Vistek reserves the right to pass this charge along to the customer.
All repairs (unless otherwise indicated) come with up to 3 month repair warranty from date of repair completion notification.
Warranty repairs must be accompanied by a copy of the original purchase invoice. Since these repairs are completed by the manufacturer's factory service, they can take up to six weeks to complete.
Vistek is pleased to assist in returning defective equipment to the manufacturer for warranty repair but the customer is responsible for all shipping and handling costs incurred.
Vistek reserves the right to collect in advance a 50% deposit on all special order parts not in stock. There are no returns on special orders.
Vistek assumes no liability for loss of data or programs on computers being serviced. Although care is taken to prevent data loss, it is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure data has been backed up. Please ask about our data backup service.
