On one stage, Mario will photograph models in different lighting and, on another stage, videographers will capture the action in HD video. Catch it all on huge 1080p screens, and on outputs from a Canon pro printer. Our staff will be on hand with the 7D set up in different formats so that you can test drive it for yourself!

There’s a unique look to Mario’s work. In fact, if it’s hard to pin down any one style or cultural influence, it’s probably because there are so many of them. Mario has traveled to and made his home in some of the great cities of the world. And they all have obviously inspired him. His style is a passionate blend of everything that’s unique and beautiful about each. As such, you can see the influences from Trieste, Italy; Melbourne, Australia; Dallas, Texas; and in Canada, Vancouver, Montreal and now Toronto. A large portion of Mario’s work takes him around the world, shooting fashion shots that appear on the covers of such fashion magazines as B East, Marriage, Sharp, Kitten, Lou Lou Guide, Pure, and Driven.

Sean's road to Vistek reads like a script from Hollywood - which is appropriate since that's where Sean has spent most of his career. After graduating from Ithaca College in upstate New York with a Bachelors Degree in Cinema and Photography, Sean leapt right into the big leagues landing a job at Buena Vista Pictures at the Walt Disney Studios in California as an Assistant to the Vice President of Production. From there Sean moved up the road to Panavision as a Camera Rental Representative, where he coordinated, scheduled, and executed literally thousands of camera package orders for features, episodic television, music videos, and commercials. At Panavision Sean was promoted time and time again, from Technical and Educational Representative to System Product Manager, a position that allowed him to work and perform on-set tests for many of the film industry's top cinematographers. From Panavision Sean moved to The Digital Film Company - where he managed one of the industry's first truly data-centric post-production facilities.
Throughout his career, Sean's love for producing short films and feature films continued. In his spare time, he continued to write and produce short films along with a feature movie. Sean immigrated to Canada in the summer of 2009 and was quickly scooped up by Vistek. In his latest role, Sean is looking forward to using his vast knowledge and first-hand experience in the movie industry to provide equipment solutions to creative image-makers across Canada.

Growing up in a “CBC family” gave Matt an immediate start in the media. By age 16 he was making films and learning everything possible about cinema, editing and special effects. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Production from York, Matt found himself working as a freelancer, shooting and directing TV pilots, music videos and short dramas. Matt has been nominated for the Canadian Society of Cinematographers Student Awards and Montreal’s Young Cuts Film Festival. “Film gives us all the great things about photography, 24 times a second,” says Matt about his passion. Incidentally, Matt’s brother is a film critic with a Toronto weekly, prompting Matt to quip, “I make the movies, and he explains what’s wrong with them.” |
