The easy mounting Rotalux system is probably the most widely copied of all softbox systems. However, it is easier
to copy a design than a quality and they remain the best units in their class. What continues to make the Elinchrom
units unique are the sets of deflectors – gold, silver and translucent that enable the softness / hardness and colour
to be modified; fitting centrally over the flashtube at your chosen distance.

Rotalux Deep Throat
The Rotalux Deep Throat octagonal 100cm softbox gives a more focused soft light when used with diffuser. To produce a hardy and brilliant spot effect light, the external and internal diffuser can be removed. Further lighting effects are possible when this light source is used with the EL-Deflector in translucent or silver and gold reflecting colours.
