Why I love this camera

I did a seminar with Steve Russell of The Toronto Star and he loaned me his Mark 3 to take some shots. So when I had 16 hockey games to shoot last weekend, I thought I'd rent the Mark4 and test it out. After 11,000 shots taken, I can tell you I have never shot better/quicker/top in-focus %/at 6400iso and delivered the goods for expectant parents. Have you ever tried to explain to a mother why you didn't get "Johnny's first goal"? Don't-just duck. This camera removes the excuses. I could snap focus on a shooter and re-snap on the goalie-both in-focus-and at 10fps-you get the puck time and time again. Used the Sandisk 90mb/sec card so never had any delay-nothing stopped me shooting once in 16 hrs. Without this camera I can tell you I would not have captured the entire sequence at the other end of the rink, of a player scoring his first goal ever, winning the season championship for his team-did I mention it was sudden death overtime?
