Olympus UFL-1 Ultralight Bracket Bundle
The Olympus UFL-1 Strobe w/ Ultralight Bracket is designed for use with Olympus digital cameras and underwater housings. Waterproof to 131' (40m), this underwater flash allows TTL exposure control in slave mode. When shooting in manual there is full and 1/2 power settings. This makes multiple flash applications and single flash macro photography easy. It is best to use the optional fiber optic cord for a flood free connection. The fiber optic cable transmits light from the camera's built in flash to the slave sensor on the strobe.
As you go deeper underwater the blue colour of the water filters out all the beautiful reds, oranges, and other colours. Using an external flash close to your subject brings back the true vibrant colours of the underwater world. The camera's internal flash is too close to the lens and will cause a snow like effect called back-scatter. So the UFL-1 is the perfect way to light up the underwater world.
The included Ultralight bracket, handle, clamp, and 3.5" long YS mount allows you to easily attach the strobe to your housing. This versatile system allows you to position the strobe for best possible lighting.
