Opus OVL-2800 Video Light
The OPUS OVL 2800 is a portable 30-watt video light that provides ample illumination to improve image quality when shooting video. The light unit attaches to any video camera or camcorder that has a shoe-mount accessory holder and is held securely in place with a locking ring. It can also be mounted on a camera bracket or light stand using the 1/4"-20 threaded socket.
The OVL 2800 video light uses two halogen bulbs: one 10 watt and one 20 watt. Each bulb is controlled separately, giving the user three possible power settings: 10, 20, and 30 watts. At the 30-watt setting, the OVL 2800 video light can illuminate subjects at a range of up to 19.6 m (65 feet) in total darkness. The power source for this lighting unit is a 6-volt NiMH rechargeable battery, which provides up to 100 minutes of continuous illumination and makes it ideal for shooting either indoors or on location. A 110-volt AC battery charger is included. Additional batteries are available separately. This compact unit measures 170 x 70 x 75mm (6.6 x 2.75 x 3 inches) and weighs only 450g
(15.8 ounces) with the battery pack.
