I agonized over purchasing this lens four months ago because of the price. My choice was the 70-200 f4, or the 7-200 2.8 with IS. Having used it for so many things since then, I'm glad I got the one I did. It's sharp, the colors are great, and worth every penny.

its way better to pay like a couple hundred more and getting this on over the 70-200mm f/4 because if you get the f/4 after a month you would regret buying it so i say go buy this one
