This lens costs close to nothing as far as lenses go. Because of the fact it's a prime, and it's elements are all designed to deliver at one focal length it's extremely sharp. 1:1 ratio for true macro photography, and at 35mm on a four thirds body, it's a good all around useful prime.
it's handsome macro brother, the 50mm macro is going to be a little sharper and a bit faster.
Given it's price and ability, this lens is outstanding.
