Versatile but middle of the road

An OK lense if you need one lens to do it all for you DSLR. At it's price point it can produce OK photo's but at the resolution DSLRs are heading for today it show's it's lack of sharpness fairly quickly. AF is also noisy and slow. Still it's a good bargain for the price but don't expect "L" series sharpness with this lens.
