Excellent Lens

Compared this with my Canon 17-40 f4L USM and I was amazed with the sharpness that it gives. Image quality is identical to my 17-40 or even in some focal length it actually exceeded the 17-40's sharpness. With it's wide aperture, I can shoot now in low light that I can't do with my 17-40 lens. I also like the Macro feature of this lens and I can shoot as close as 2" from the object. I was surprised also how fast it's AF even it's a non-HSM. It focus fast in low light. I'm very very happy with this Sigma 18-50 f2.8 EX DC Macro lens.
