The Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 9-18mm f/4.0-5.6 Lens is super-wide-angle lens compatible with Four Thirds System cameras. The lens features an ultra-compact (2.9", 73mm long) design and is extremely lightweight (7.9 oz, 275 g) for outstanding portability. This lens is constructed of 13 elements in 9 groups, including an ED (Extra Low Dispersion) glass Aspherical lens which offers superior sharpness and color correction by effectively minimizing chromatic aberration, even at wide aperture settings. It also has an Aspherical lens and a DSA (Dual Super Aspherical) lens which together deliver sharp images with a minimum amount of distortion even at the widest angle.

A little about Wide Angle Lenses?

Wide angle lenses are ideal for capturing large subject areas whether it is landscapes, nature, outdoor scenes, or large groups. Any lens with a focal length much smaller than 50mm is considered a wide angle lens. Its design also allows for larger views in tight spaces.
