Sigma has introduced a new close-up lens for its DP1 camera. The AML-1 lens enables focusing between 7.9 and 13 inches, with 1:8.2 to 1:14.9 magnification. It mounts onto the DP1 with Sigma's HA-11 hood adapter, and takes 46mm filters. The two-element AML-1 has a multi-layer coating to reduce flare and ghosting.
When this lens is attached to the optional Hood Adapter HA-11, it enables close-up photography with a focusing distance between 20cm and 33cm. The exclusive design creates high image quality and the super multi-layer coating reduces flare and ghosting.
The lens construction of 2 elements in 1 group provides correction for colour aberration and distortion and delivers a high level of optical performance.
