PremierArt Eco Elegance is an embellishing gel used to give a personal touch to your ink jet prints. Made from the same material as Eco Print Shield, this non-yellowing gel will not go brittle.
This water based gel comes in clear and white, allowing you to mix with acrylic paints for coloration, giving an Impasto look to your ink jet prints.

Digital canvas fine art prints made from inkjet printers lack the 3D look found on acrylic and oil paintings. These flat prints don’t have the same “look and feel” of original artwork. Now with Eco Elegance, you can add brushstrokes or enhance highlights with this embellishing gel. Eco Elegance is a non-yellowing and non-cracking formula that will last the lifetime of the print.
Available in clear and white, is readily mixed with acrylic paints for a full range of colors.
Application:
After print is coated and stretched, Eco Elegance may be applied by roller, brush or putty knife.
- STEP 1 – COAT: Inkjet Prints must be completely dry (minimum 24 hours) and then coated with PremierArt ECO Print Shield.
- STEP 2 – STRETCH: If canvas is to be stretched, it must be stretched before applying embellishing gel. If it will be mounted, this mounting must also be completed before application of Eco Elegance.
- STEP 3 – EMBELLISH: After the coating has completely cured and print is stretched or mounted, Eco Elegance can be applied with a brush, roller or putty knife. Eco Elegance must be applied in thin layers allowing the gel to dry between coats in order to remain clear. It can also be mixed with acrylic paints for color matching. This product is not compatible with oil based paints.
