PremierArtTM Gloss Canvas is a 2:1 double weave, acid free, polyester/cotton blend that is instant drying and water resistant. The 65%/35% poly/cotton blend is easily stretched, and is ideal for portrait and wedding photography, as well as art and fine art markets. The low gloss surface provides an exceptional D-max with an expanded tonal range, keeping shadow details while maintaining highlights. This canvas is dye and pigment compatible, and works with both
photo black and matte black inks.
Poly/cotton blends are less susceptible to humidity fluctuations, have less movement after stretching when compared to 100% cotton canvas, and need to be re-tightened less often. This is a great advantage compared to 100% cotton canvas which frequently sag with the change of humidity. When used with Eco Print Shield, this canvas will not crack when stretched.
