Overview

The black HD Pentax DA 70mm f/2.4 Limited Lens from Pentax is a prime portrait-length lens providing a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 105mm. With a short-telephoto angle of view of 23° it is perfectly suited for portrait and landscape shooting along with other general long lens applications. In order to help enhance contrast and clarity while minimizing flare and ghosting, a high-grade multi-layer HD coating has been applied to the lens elements. A nine-blade diaphragm contributes to an aesthetic out-of-focus quality to benefit shallow depth of field imagery. In order to protect the front lens element from dirt, oil and finger prints, an SP Protect coating has also been applied.
