Dyna-Lite UNI400JRg AC/DC Monolight
The Uni400JRg is the industry benchmark for compactness and lighting versatility. Along with an incredible amount of power and creative features, the Uni400JRg Control Panel has a DC power port for use with the Dyna-Lite Jackrabbitpack for any location shooting application. Hardly bigger than a Dyna-Lite flash head, the Uni400JRg weighs just 3 1/2 lbs. and packs a 400 watt-second wallop. Plugged into an AC outlet you get a 1.4 second recycle time at full power (400 w/s). Full, half, quarter, and eighth power settings in 1/3 stop steps provide a four f-stop range. Full tracking quartz modeling light, and a built-in slave-eye.
Uni Monolights Include:
- UV Color Corrected Flash Tube: 5500°K is perfect for critical color work. Plus, there is virtually no color shift with different power settings. Rated to 500-watt seconds for extra long life.
- Quartz Modeling Light: 3200°K color temperature and 2000 hour rated. 100 watt, positioned to produce illumination identical to flash. User replaceable. Three Position Modeling Switch: Gives you the option of shooting with the modeling light on, off, or fully proportional.
- Interchangeable Reflectors: Achieve greater light control with the 7" grid reflector included. (optional reflectors and snoots available as well)
- Accessory Mounting Ring: Integral, molded mounting ring permits quick and secure installation. Enables 360-degree rotation of most soft boxes and accessories.
- Friction Control Handle: Easily set in tight spaces with ratchet handle. Reversible for left handed and right handed use. Adjusting head does not
alter friction setting. Universal Stand Mount: 1/2” and 5/8” holes provide maximum versatility to fit all light stands.
- Umbrella Mount: 1/2” hole accommodates all umbrellas. Reversible thumbscrew for left handed or right handed convenience.
- LOWEL Flexi Clips: Two are provided to accept Lowel Flexi shafts, Total flags, and Total flectors for ultimate light control situations.
- Power Control Knob: Full, half, quarter and eighth power settings in 1/3 stop steps.
- AC Power Cord Socket and Power Fuse: 15’ cord exits at a convenient 90-degree angle. Power fuse is
user replaceable and includes a spare fuse.
- Sync Input Socket: ISO approved sync circuit. Included 3-blade cord is safe to use with all sophisticated electronic and digital cameras, and prevents it from accidentally being plugged into a 110v socket. Socket also accepts standard two blade cords.
- Slave/Synch Switch: In the down (Sync) position, the flash is triggered by the sync cord pulse. The up (Slave) position enables the flash to be triggered by any other flash or infrared source.
- Wein Slave Eye: Can be triggered by other flash sources and infrared transmitters.
- Ready Light Test Switch: This low profile button serves as a flash test switch and signals 100% flash readiness.
- Dump Indicator: The LED lets you know when to flash the unit to “dump” the capacitors during a power setting change.
- Abuse Resistant Design: Power cables are arc protected. Powder epoxy coating on the flash head takes abuse and is easy to clean.
