Strong, sturdy and reliable, the Triman tripod is the ideal studio tripod. The geared centre column has a non roll-back feature and has a threaded 3/8" mount on the bottom of the column to allow low angle shots. Twin shank leg design, built-in spirit level and rubber feet with retractable spikes are standard features. The tripod uses a centre column strut design for added stability. Includes a mid level spreader and carrying strap. Ideal for cameras up to medium format. Diameter legs in mm: 25, 20, 19 tandem.
Key Features
- solid tripod/head plate has an industry standard 3/8" screw and three angled grub screws which stop the head from unscrewing accidentally in use and also block unwanted panoramic rotation or play between tripod and head
- wing nut leg locks are slightly slower to use than "Quick Action" flip lever leg locks, but give total control over locking force and are so easy to service out in the field that they'll never let you down.
- retractable spiked feet mean you can use this both outdoors (with the spike extended for better grip on soft terrain, moss, plants, etc) and indoors on delicate floor surfaces (with the rubber foot covering the spike to avoid damage and give more stable non-slip support)
- there is a second camera/head screw at the bottom of the center column to allow for low angle shooting or even more stable low-slung support of heavy equipment
