The highlight of the 322RC2 is the Quick Action Hand Grip that allows the photographer to simultaneously unlock the head and rapidly readjust the camera just in time to get the perfect shot. Once the grip is released, the camera stays locked in position without the hassle of tightening knobs or locking levers. For situations where the photographer must alternate from tripod mounted to hand-held shooting, the 322RC2 is easily removed with the quick release lever, once again putting a premium on speed and versatility.
Constructed of high-tech magnesium, the 322RC2 is extremely lightweight, yet durable enough to accommodate an 11lb payload. With the ability to rotate 360° around the vertical axis and +/-90° lateral tilt as well as the ease of finding the horizon with a built-in bubble spirit level, the 322RC2 offers the precision and control of a standard tripod/ball head combo without sacrificing any speed or reaction time. With the optional 322RS electronic shutter release, the photographer won't even have to take his or her eye from the viewfinder.
