Manfrotto 816 Tower Stand

The Super Salon 280 is Manfrotto's flagship of the segment, sporting a pneumatically dampened column which travels nearly to the height of nine feet! The wheels are engaged and disengaged with just a single foot pedal, and the lateral arm sports a counterbalanced rack-and-pinion drive mechanism. For studio work with supremely large cameras, there is nothing finer.

- The rugged column is mounted on a heavy-duty cast “T” base and is easy to move around because of its smooth-rolling wheels. The wheels can be locked into position with just one step on the single control pedal.
- The Super Salon 280 has a 4” diameter black anodized aluminum column and a 39.3” horizontal camera arm that travels 24.4”. The arm has precise rack and pinion drive and is accurately counter-balanced to move smoothly up and down. The camera support platform allows movement at a solid angle of 360°.
