- Series 2, 3 and 5 Basalt and 6X monopods now feature the aluminum "Power Disc" for a more secure locking of the head thanks to the additional locking screw.
- Removable rubber feet are now self-locking to avoid accidental loss.
- All 2008 monopods feature the Gitzo belt clip. This clip, incorporated in the wrist strap, is a smart carrying solution that allows you to hand your monopod on belts or pockets.
