Great, stable, lightweight tripod for the money!

I have put this tripod through it's paces, used it in the ocean (on a calm morning;rinsed it off & no adverse effects yet from the salt water), the desert (it fell off my backpack into sand, 3 times in all), it's survived TSA inspection (long story, suffice to say the inspector wasn't kind to the 'pod) & Canadian winter (minus 15 C) and still looks & works as well as the first day I got it. I was skeptical being a loyal Manfrotto user, but I needed a lightweight yet sturdy tripod for travel that would easily fit in my carry on luggage that wouldn't cost an arm or leg. I am so impressed with the Induro's toughness & flawless performance I use it constantly, leaving the heavier Manfrotto at home. Don't let the price fool you, if you're looking for a tough yet lightweight tripod with a max load of 10 lbs then this is it.
