Stasis Power Support System... The new super-lightweight STASIS shoulder mount redirects the geometry of a mini-DV camera to make use of the most stable camera support platform in the world - the human body. The result is a body support system which improves both the ergonomics and performance of a professional min-DV handheld.
The STASIS frame supports the camera weight; its adjustable front plate comfortably takes weight off the operator's hand; and the rear battery mount counters the forward weight of the camera.
Using any professional Gold Mount battery (see page 6) delivers extended runtimes up to 10 hours! STASIS allows the use of a professional on-camera UltraLight through the STASIS PowerTap connector while its high efficiency DC-to_DC converter delivers noise free regulated operating voltage to any 7.2V mini-DV cameras.
The result is a balanced, professional body support and power system delivering vastly improved camera ergonomics, performance and reduced camera shake caused by operator fatigue.
