Manfrotto 595B Fig Rig Video Support System
A modular System that smoothly supports and stabilizes your DV Camera, while acting as a frame to mount all the accessories, including zoom controllers, mics, mixers, lights, monitors, arms, etc. While it's design is non traditional, it is purely simple and effective. It consists of a circular frame with a crossbar for mounting most mini DV cameras. It has a padded hand grip for comfort and security even in extreme environments.
Four included cable clips maintain all your wires wrapped neatly around the rig and out of your shot. Additional accessory mounting is available with the camera bar's threaded holes, featuring a 1/4", 3/8" and 5/8" hole, to meet all your needs. When using the Fig Rig on a flat surface such as a table or floor, an incorporated non-slip rubber pad provides you with stability.
A 501PL sliding QR plate allows you to position & balance your camera. A variety of Manfrotto plate assemblies which interchange, allow you the flexibility to match all your individual systems needs. An optional 595CLA converts the Fig Rig frame into a fully-loaded roving cine rig which will precisely position your mic or monitor anywhere around your camera. Adding on a Manfrotto 521 Series remote control offers you total fingertip control of zoom and focus as well.
The Fig Rig System integrates with your body and the camera producing smooth, steady traveling shots. The muscles & tendons absorb all the shocks as the user is walking, while only fluid movements are trans ferred to the camera. With no straps or harnesses attached to the Fig Rig, the operator can make quick and wide movements within the same shot anywhere from ground-level to overhead, all in one smooth movement.
The camera, and its accessories along with the user become united, allowing him/her to film scenes quickly as well as unobtrusively. Your creativity is virtually limitless with the Fig Rig Support System.

Compatible video remote controls With Manfrotto's 521 series remote controls you can control zoom and focus (for Sony and Canon). With the Fig Rig you have complete control of your camera without ever removing your hands from the Rig.
Optional UNIVERSAL SHOCK MOUNT MICROPHONE HOLDER MICC4 Rubber dampening system to absorb vibrations, has 3/8 threaded hole.
Optional FIG RIG CLAMP 595CLA Clamp specifi cally designed for the Fig Rig. Supplied with 1/4-20 and 3/8 screws, and female 1/4-20 - 3/8 adapter.
On-camera lights and monitors: position your light or monitor anywhere around your camera, freeing you up to take it off your hot-shoe.
Microphones: mount your shotgun mic anywhere around the camera.
Mount to a tripod: need to go from hand held to a tripod / monopod ? No problem, simply mount the entire Fig Rig quickly to a tripod / monopod.
Hang it up: hang the Fig Rig on a light stand between shots.
Low-angle stability: quickly mount the Fig Rig to any 5/8 stud for either temporary storage of stable low-angle shots.
