The SolaENG 3" LED Fresnel from Litepanels represents a significant breakthrough in LED design, providing the beam control, illumination, and single-shadow properties of standard Fresnel fixtures at a fraction of the required power. Fully dimmable with no noticable shift in color temperature, this cool-to-the-touch on-camera LED is flicker-free and requires only 30W of power to produce the tungsten equivalent of 250W. Powered either by a camera battery or AC adapter, the SolaENG is not only energy efficient but extremely light at 10 oz (0.28kg).

Key Features

• Like all Litepanels, Sola Fresnels feature instant dimming from 100% to 0 with no noticeable color shift. The SolaENG provides manual focus and dimming control via camera lens-style ergonomic controls.
• Employing Litepanels' ultra-efficient LEDs, the SolaENG draws 90% less power than conventional tungsten lights, with very little heat generation.
• Litepanels' cool-to-the-touch lighting systems substantially cut down on air conditioning requirements in studio applications.
• The SolaENG weighs only 1/3 as much as its HMI predecessors, with no external ballasts. The fixture has a universal AC input and can be used on any 85-245 volt power worldwide.
