Our Administration team is dedicated to flawlessly executing a broad range of clerical tasks including personal admin. support for key managers, and the front end business of reception and cashiering.
Sales administration experience is helpful when applying for executive support positions.
Receptionist candidates must enjoy working with people and have a good facility with numbers.
Commercial
Vistek not only offers complete imaging solutions at store level, we sell our products and services to larger entities such as studios, government departments, hospitals, police, fire and academic institutions.
This is an exciting area and we are always looking for individuals who are confident in their ability to sell through relationship-building.
Consumables
Our Consumables Department offers you a wide range of inks and papers, books, bags and an eclectic range of presentation materials.
All sales representatives are shooters, and can share their expert eye in finding you the best tools to shoot and present your personal masterpieces.
Marketing
Creating the right message for the right customer at the right time is the job of Vistek’s in-house marketing team of writers and graphic designers.
Working together, they’re responsible for producing ads, brochures, flyers, catalogues and more, selectively targeted to our professional, prosumer and amateur markets. Several years of practical experience and/or a degree or certificate in copywriting or graphic design is required.
Photo and Video Sales
Vistek’s Photo/Digital Department offers everything you need to take the perfect picture.
Our consultants are experienced and knowledgeable; all our consultants are professional shooters with degrees or diplomas in their area of expertise - true experts!

Pro Sales
Vistek has always been the source of the latest gear for the professional photographer. One full floor of retail space in the Toronto store is dedicated to the highest quality imaging equipment available, including Hasselblad, Phase One, Elinchrom, Speedotron, Lastolite and Apple Macintosh.
Our experienced Pro Sales team consists of serious shooters, dedicated to their professional customer base.
Purchasing
The Purchasing Department is at the heart of our business. Through excellent relationship management, Vistek is able to order and stock its impressive range of gear and to ensure inventory is managed efficiently. Our Purchasers are responsible for researching and acquiring the best possible product for our customers.
When recruiting members of our Purchasing team, we do appreciate related experience in finished goods and/or retail buying.
Rentals
The Rentals Department showcases Vistek’s enormous range of imaging products. Virtually any product in the store can be rented – to try, to test, or just to play.
Rentals consultants are knoweldgeable experts with significant shooting experience who will ensure you take home the best possible gear for a personal project or a paying gig. And, of course, we rigorously test and carefully pack all product before it leaves the store.
Rentals consultants hold a degree or diploma in their area of specialty, significant experience and are passionate and knowledgeable about the exceptional breadth of equipment Vistek has to offer.
Training and Events
New products and techniques are always coming to market and customers need to learn how to make the most of them. In addition, our sales staff needs to keep fully up to date on all the latest tools and techniques.
Our Training and Events department organizes in-store seminars and demos for our amateur and pro customers, high level product and sales training for our staff, as well as our participation in numerous industry trade shows. Clearly, the whole point of having expertise is to share it!
Video Department
The Consumer and Pro Video Departments reflect Vistek’s commitment to being a complete resource for video professionals. We offer camcorders, lighting, grip equipment, accessories, media, storage, editing hardware and software, and audio from the finest manufacturers.
Our Video Departments are staffed by knowledgeable and experienced sales representatives who are delighted to share their passion for film-making with you!
Warehouse
Over 15,000 items are available from Vistek, and organizing and delivering them in a timely fashion is the key focus of our Warehouse Department. Warehouse staff are involved in inventory control, and shipping, receiving and fulfilling orders, particularly orders made through our large and growing online operation.
Excellent organizational skills and a strong customer focus are essential qualities of candidates for a position in the Vistek warehouse.
