Overview

HCD 24mm f4.8

The HCD 24mm lens is an ultra-wide angle lens with an advanced optical design for outstanding performance and extreme corner to corner sharpness. With a 104° diagonal angle of view it is the most extreme wide-angle lens currently available for medium format.

This ultra-wide-angle lens delivers outstanding performance throughout its focusing range. Its 104-degree diagonal field of view, the widest of our current lens ranges, enables captures to be made in cramped interiors or vast vistas by landscape photographers. This compact lens is perfect for shooting in confined spaces and is a perfect companion to the HTS 1.5x Tilt/Shift Adapter providing a 37mm (equivalent to a 27 mm focal length in 35 mm format terms) wide angle tilt and shift lens.

Compatibility:

  • The HCD 4,8/24 lens is designed for digital use. This means that the lens is designed for a format of 37x49 mm and does not fully cover the film format (41.5x56 mm).
  • When used with sensors larger than 37x49 mm, a marginal automatic crop will be added in Phocus. The crop can easily be removed if not required.
  • The HCD 4,8/24 lens is not compatible with the Converter 1.7x.
