Repairs to Apple / Mac computers are performed by our Apple certified technician on Macbooks, Mac Pro, and iMac etc. Add more memory or larger hard drive storage and you will gain more power on your computer and improve your performance.

On- Site installations and Services Our tech will install Large and Medium format Epson printers at your business location in the Toronto Area*. We include basic training and can provide colour profile assistance. We also perform on-site monitor calibrations to get that image reproduction perfect.

If you simply need technical help on your MAC computer our technician will be glad to sit down with you in a training and evaluation session to ensure proper and efficient usage of your operating system functions including Time Capsule and Time Machine.

Sensor cleanings for all DSLR’s are performed in-house while you wait in as little as 20 minutes.We'll also clean your camera body, lenses, and can remove jammed or broken filters.

Our Pro Sony technician handles repairs for tape systems and decks of generations past to the latest digital models. Calibrations and alignments will bring your system back to full life. We also perform first level service to Canon Pro C series cameras.

Memory card, hard drive data and photo recovery are no problem for our technical staff. Data lost from formatted memory cards and hard drives that no longer detect are a common failure that we solve on a regular basis.

Our value added service is what you always get when you have you computer serviced at Vistek. This service includes Internal cleaning of your computer and external cleaning of the case and display. Recommendation evaluation report includes diagnostic report, and a performance report that evaluates your hard drive storage. You will also receive a verbal review with the technician who can answer all of your questions. If you wish to upgrade your hard drive to a larger size we provide drive imaging and data transfers

Manufacturer warranties normally cover parts and labour free of charge. Handling and shipping, however are your responsibility. You must also defend warranty claims contested by the manufacturer.

There is a way to avoid the time and hassle of submitting warranty claims.

• Issue proper paperwork to process warranty claims
• Provide shipping overnight to the manufacturer’s repair facility

Hard Drive Data & Photo Recovery

Our technicians have extensive experience recovering data from computer hard drives that have become corrupted and can no longer be read. It may be as simple as repairing the corruption which will return your hard drive to its normal operation. If the corruption is too severe then commonly we are able to recover your files and back them up onto another hard drive. An external drive that does not detect is analyzed using one of our drive interfaces. We can then provide another enclosure to get you safely going again. In the event that your hard drive has failed and is not accessible, we can arrange to have your data recovered by our Data Recovery partner. They are capable of dismantling the drive and moving your platters to another working assembly if necessary. Please call us for more details.

Memory Card Photo Image Recovery.

Vistek Service can recover photos or images that have been lost, corrupted, erased, or accidently formatted from all types of memory cards. We use sophisticated software to recover the images and burn them to a CD or DVD usually within 1 hour. If your card is electrically damaged and can't be detected or read at all we can provide an estimate to have the photos recovered by our photo recovery partner using a specialized interface.

CCD Sensor Cleaning

Vistek's CCD sensor cleaning service is one of the best services in Canada.

This service includes cleaning accessible dust from the rear element of your lens, the focus screen, the mirror, the mirror box and the shutter. Then we damp swab the CCD sensor with certified cleaning fluids and swabs until the dust has been completely removed.
We confirm this by checking test images in Photoshop.
