Join us Thursday, August 20th for an immersive on-location interactive outdoor group photography workshop designed for photographers of all skill levels who are eager to enhance their craft in a real-world setting. This hands-on workshop will take place at a stunning venue with mountains and lakes, providing the perfect backdrop for capturing beautiful moments.

Ready to take charge and ready to complete a group photo assignment designed by incredible photographers. This workshop is interactive, and you, as participants, will be in control of a photo shoot as a group!!

*For those arriving directly at the venue, you are welcome to arrive before 9:15 am. However, to park the vehicle, you will need to get the pass: Purchase Parking Pass (press ctrl and click to open).

Lunch (buffet style) will be provided at the venue as well as snacks, coffee, and water. Please note that we are not able to guarantee that the foods are prepared in an environment that is nut-free and allergen-free. Please take caution if you have an allergy, as we won't be able to provide a separate allergy-free menu.
Representatives from Canon and Fujifilm will also be present to answer your question and demo their latest cameras and lenses

Meet the Presenters

Sean LeBlanc is a highly acclaimed photographer, speaker, and educator with multiple international awards. His work is distinguished by its bold, candid, sensitive, and dramatic nature, inspired by light and shadow.

Despite a successful career in engineering and obtaining an MBA, Sean found his true passion in people and photography, prompting him to resign from the corporate world and establish a thriving full-time luxury wedding and portrait studio.As a Nikon Canada Ambassador, Profoto Sweden Ambassador, and global Ambassador for Graphistudio Italy, Sean has quickly risen to prominence in the photography industry.

He has been recognized as one of the top photographers in his field by various national and international organizations and represented Team Canada at the World Photographic Cup. Sean has presented at conferences and seminars in Europe, the U.S., and Canada and served as a WPPI judge. He resides in Calgary with his wife and two children.

Jonathan Bielaski is an environmental portrait photographer whose images offer more than just a face—they tell a story. For over two decades, he has focused his lens on people in their natural environments, capturing the essence of who they are by showing where they thrive. Whether it’s a craftsman in a dimly lit workshop or an athlete in motion, Bielaski’s portraits reflect authenticity, grit, and a deep respect for his subjects.

What sets his work apart is the seamless blend of technical precision and narrative depth. He doesn’t just take a photo—he builds a scene, working with light and space to reveal the quiet details that define a person’s world. His images invite viewers to pause, look closer, and connect.

He has shared his approach and insights at major photography expos, encouraging others to see portraits not just as pictures, but as powerful storytelling tools. With every frame, Bielaski invites us to step into someone else’s shoes—if only for a moment.

My name is Devon Rogers, and I am a Commercial and Portrait photographer. I feel extremely fortunate to do what I love and love what I do. I have eleven years of professional experience and have had the opportunity to work within several different facets of photography, furthering my passion for creativity. I strive to build a personal relationship with those sitting in front of my lens while ensuring that my client's vision and stories are brought to life. It is of utmost importance to me that I continue to grow, and I am always on the lookout for new opportunities that will allow me to expand my personal experience and knowledge base.

Phillip Chin travels between Vancouver and Toronto to photograph editorial and corporate portraits, annual reports & social media campaigns. Chin specializes in creating calm and relaxing experiences for people who don't want to be photographed. Phillip's images have been nominated for various awards across Canada.
