Paired with its family of G Mount lenses, the result is a perfect marriage between the camera body and lens, leaving photographers of all levels joyful in the simplicity of easily acheiving wonderful image quality.

Pair it with the new GF35-70mmF4.5-5.6 WR lens and you’ll find a wonderfully affordable combination that delivers images from a 51.4-megapixel sensor, which makes it the perfect gateway to large format photography. Get outstanding results with professional features that include 19 Film Simulations, advanced autofocusing, and a vast range of exposure controls providing limitless opportunities for creativity.

The Freedom to Create

Room for Perfection

Not all sensors are created equal. Compared to full-frame 50MP sensors, GFX50S II’s large format 50MP sensor is uniquely different because each pixel is larger and able to collect more data per pixel comparative to full-frame sensors of the same resolution. This results a stronger signal-to-noise ratio, which surpresses noise, increases dynamic range, and produces images with more information per pixel.

Raising the Bar for IBIS
6.5 Stops of In-Body Image Stabilization

GFX50S II features a redesigned in-body image stabilization (IBIS) system that is 20% smaller, and 10% lighter, than the version found in GFX100. Despite this reduction in size and weight, it provides up to an impressive 6.5 stops of five-axis stabilization (based on CIPA standards), providing dramatically broad possibilities for image makers wanting to work more freely with slow shutter speeds. Even when light levels are low, and a tripod isn’t available, steady images are on the horizon.

Responsive Autofocus for Ultimate Creativity

Autofocus for Every Occasion

Fast, reliable autofocus comes to GFX50S II, thanks to a combination of advanced technologies and Fujifilm’s powerful X-Processor 4 imaging engine. Sensor readout speeds have been boosted from 130fps to 250fps compared to GFX50S, enabling razor-sharp responses – whether subject tracking or picking out a face in a crowd. An improved autofocusing algorithm, taken from the latest FUJIFILM X Series and GFX System cameras, boosts focusing performance in all modes, including face and eye detection. The AF system also brilliantly works in tandem with in-body image stabilization (IBIS) to provide up to 6.5 stops of handheld stability. This simply means the camera’s autofocusing performance will be up to the task when the creative senses are flowing.

Proven Technologies Deliver Outstanding Results

Fujifilm has been perfecting its colour science know-how for more than 85 years – and all the knowledge from this impressive heritage has been poured into GFX50S II. The 51.4MP large format sensor uses a specially designed CMOS Bayer array that delivers images with minimal noise and an incredibly wide dynamic range, while 19 Film Simulation modes allow creatives to produce images with colours that stir emotion and memories. Coupled with the ever-growing family of G Mount lenses that can resolve sensors of 100MP or more, this is a camera – and system – that meets the demands of exacting creators seeking the ultimate image quality.

Large Format Has Never Been This Easy

With GFX50S II, Fujifilm has made the large format experience easier and more intuitive than ever before. A PSAM dial gives access to its main exposure functions and a top-plate LCD displays key settings – even when the camera is switched off. Also, a redesigned Focus Lever and feather-touch shutter release provide finishing touches to the image-making experience. Whether you’re new to the GFX System or an existing user, there’s nothing to stand in the way of connection with your subject.

FUJINON GF35-70mm f4.5-5.6 WR

Compact and lightweight, it offers the perfect entry point to the GFX System and gives image-makers an opportunity to create with new levels of depth and detail. A featherweight 440g (0.97lb) zoom lens, with 35mm equivalent focal range of 28-55mm and close focusing distance of 35cm (13.78in), it’s engineered, like any GFX System lens, to produce images or video with incredible detail and minimal focus breathing.

Blink and You Won’t Miss It

GFX System cameras take the experience of creating images on large format out of the studio and into the world, giving globetrotters and studio professionals alike a chance to keep expanding their creative horizons. Attached to GFX100 and GFX100S cameras, GF35-70mm can autofocus in as little as 0.17 seconds, bringing even the briefest of moments within reach, so they last a lifetime.

The Weight Is Over

Zoom lenses for large format sensors don’t come any more compact and lightweight than GF35-70mmF4.5-5.6 WR – its minimal measurements are impressive, even for the GFX System! Thanks to a series of seals across the lens body, this versatile zoom confidently repels dust and moisture, operating effortlessly in temperatures as low as 14°F (-10°C). Meet nature’s challenges with a lens that is more than ready to rise to the occasion.
