Versatile Fader-Based Control for Multi-Device Workflows

The Color Fly offers unmatched flexibility, transitioning seamlessly between different control tasks. One moment, it functions as a camera shading panel with motorized faders and encoders dedicated to iris, RGB matrix, and other camera settings. For the next production, it switches to audio control, with 4 channel strips, each featuring motorized fader, dedicated solo/mute/select buttons and OLED screens displaying live VU meters for precise audio adjustments. It can also be used to control DMX through ArtNet-compatible lighting systems, giving operators full command over lighting setups. Each channel strip is fully configurable and can operate independently, offering virtually unlimited customization options to match any workflow or production requirement.

Shade Cameras

Color Fly introduces a new way of shading – you can now control multiple cameras simultaneously. Motorized faders can be assigned to adjust the iris on up to four cameras at once, with the ability to switch instantly to another group of four. The buttons and encoders provide access to advanced menus and parameters for each specific device. SKAARHOJ supports hundreds of camera models, including broadcast, PTZ, specialty, and cinema cameras from top brands such as Sony, Panasonic, Canon, BirdDog, RED, ARRI, and many more.

Mix Audio

With the motorized faders, it's clear that Color Fly has been designed with audio mixing in mind. The fader section creates channel strips with live level meters displayed on OLED screens and color-coded buttons. Naturally, there’s also an encoder on top of each strip for pan, gain, or sends. Color Fly also includes a large section with buttons and additional encoders, where you can assign macros, mute groups, or adjust even more detailed audio parameters. It’s the most compact yet incredibly powerful IP-based mixing surface.

A New Way of Mixing

Color Fly redefines your front-end mixing experience. You can use it as a dedicated controller for your favorite DSP, mixer, or software. But there's more – on a single device, you can assign multiple different channels from different devices. In the same layer, you can have a fader from Yamaha, GV AMPP Audio Mixer, vMix, and Waves Cloud MX – all at your fingertips. For users requiring additional fader control, Wave Board or Wave Board Mini can be easily combined with Color Fly. Thanks to the Blue Pill platform, these devices feel like a single, unified control surface.

Total Customization and SKAARHOJ Integration

As with all SKAARHOJ products, Color Fly is fully customizable through the Reactor Web UI, giving users complete control over every button, encoder, and fader. Whether it’s tweaking the panel’s setup for audio control or creating a custom camera shading workflow, this controller adapts to your needs. Its uniform hardware design means it integrates perfectly with other SKAARHOJ controllers such as Master Key One, Air Fly Pro, and PTZ controllers, allowing it to be a key component of larger, multi-device setups.
