X2D II 100C
Brilliance at Every Moment
Crafted for those who seek brilliance, Hasselblad X2D II 100C delivers true-to-life colour powered by the Hasselblad Natural Colour Solution with High Dynamic Range (HNCS HDR). The new AF-C mode, subject detection and 10-stop stabilization work together to deliver sharp images with speed and precision, even in challenging conditions. And with Phocus Mobile 2 streamlining your workflow, you can stay fully immersed in your creative process, letting inspiration flow and exceptional images follow naturally.
Key Features:
- AF-C: Continuous Autofocus With PDAF and LiDAR
- HNCS HDR: End-to-End True-to-Life Dynamic Range
- IBIS: 5-Axis 10-Stop In-Body Image Stabilization
- Phocus Mobile 2: Enhanced Creativity on the Go

Focus in an Instant
The new AF-C mode brings reliable continuous autofocus, accurately detecting and tracking moving subjects. In AF-S mode, 425 PDAF zones that spread over the 100-megapixel sensor work with the LiDAR for fast, accurate focusing. A new AF illuminator improves autofocus performance in low light and doubles as a self-timer indicator.
AF-C Continuous Autofocus
For the first time on a Hasselblad, X2D II 100C features AF-C continuous autofocus. Powered by deep learning algorithms, it reliably detects and tracks human, vehicles, cats and dogs in various poses throughout the capture.
New Focus Point Modes
Beyond the existing "Spot" mode, X2D II 100C adds "Expand Spot", "Custom" and "Wide" modes. As inspiration flows, master every focal point with ease.
True Colours Shine in Highlight
Experience the first medium format camera with true end-to-end HDR. Your richly detailed HDR images are captured and processed in-camera as HDR HEIF or Ultra HDR JPEG for stunning results, and can be instantly reviewed on the touchscreen with 1400-nit peak brightness, or edited directly on iPhone/iPad with Phocus Mobile 2.
HNCS HDR Highlight Images
Building on HNCS, X2D II 100C's HNCS HDR harnesses high dynamic range to elevate Hasselblad's signature natural colours to new heights of brilliance. Even in harsh light, it prevents overexposure more effectively whilst revealing more detail. HDR images captured with X2D II 100C can be viewed directly on the built-in 1400-nit touchscreen or on any HDR-capable iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Android device. When SDR photography is preferred, simply switch modes in camera settings.
Discover HNCS HDR
The renowned Hasselblad Natural Colour Solution (HNCS) now evolves with high dynamic range technology in X2D II 100C, bringing end-to-end HNCS HDR for imagery that captures the world as your eyes truly see it.
Highlights Throughout Your Workflow
With X2D II 100C, HNCS HDR brilliance flows through every stage of your workflow, from initial capture to playback to post-processing. The camera generates HDR HEIF or Ultra HDR JPEG files directly, viewable instantly on the built-in 1400-nit touchscreen.
Phocus Mobile 2 brings this capability further. Beyond viewing and editing X2D II 100C HDR images, the app can apply HNCS HDR processing to RAW files from X2D 100C, X1D II 50C, CFV 100C and CFV II 50C. When shared on HDR-capable platforms, these images showcase the full brilliance of HNCS HDR, revealing colours and tones with unprecedented fidelity.
100-Megapixel CMOS Sensor
X2D II 100C's enhanced 100-megapixel medium format BSI CMOS sensor embodies Hasselblad's commitment to uncompromising image quality. With 16-bit colour depth delivering around 281 trillion colours, it captures the subtle gradations that bring photographs to life. The addition of ISO 50 native sensitivity and 15.3 stops of dynamic range provides photographers with precise control, from the deepest shadows to the brightest highlights, every nuance is preserved with exceptional detail.
3.6-inch OLED Two-Way Tilt Touchscreen
The 3.6-inch OLED touchscreen features vivid HDR visuals and up to 1400-nit peak brightness for true-to-life clarity. The versatile screen tilts up 90° and down to approximately 43°, and can be pulled out to stay clear of the viewfinder.
Composed by Design, Steady by Nature
5-Axis, 10-Stop Stabilization
Stabilization performance is now up to 8 times that of X2D 100C when capturing distant subjects. The advanced 5-axis, 10-stop IBIS lets you shoot handheld for several seconds and still capture crisp, clear images. Long exposures to capture flowing traffic or running water are now possible without a tripod.
Precision Without Compromise
The 100-megapixel medium format sensor's extraordinary resolution demands equally extraordinary stabilization. Hasselblad engineers redesigned the entire stabilization system; hardware, structure, and algorithms, delivering 5-axis, 10-stop in-body image stabilization to X2D II 100C whilst maintaining the compact form photographers expect.
Uncompromising Calibration Standards
Each X2D II 100C undergoes an individual 2-hour calibration using Hasselblad's most stringent protocols. For X2D II 100C, Hasselblad's engineers applied Hasselblad’s highest internal standards, achieving 0.1-pixel control precision through pixel-level calibration.
The system employs high-precision gyroscopes and accelerometers, detecting movements as fine as 0.001 degrees. Through extensive field research analysing camera shake patterns across all age groups, Hasselblad refined the stabilization algorithms for real-world conditions. An innovative electronic compass even compensates for Earth's rotation*, ensuring consistent performance worldwide.

Crafted Details From Capture to Edit
Phocus Mobile 2
Edit RAW HDR images on your iPhone or iPad, adjust exposure, reduce noise with Hasselblad Natural Noise Reduction (HNNR) 8, and showcase them with the signature Hasselblad natural colour. Even when the camera is powered off, you can wake it up with the app and wirelessly transfer images, without having to take it out or switch it on manually.
1TB Internal SSD
With 1TB of built-in SSD storage, X2D II 100C holds over 50,000 HEIF images, eliminating the anxiety of running out of space mid-shoot. Write speeds of up to 2370MB/s and read speeds of up to 2850MB/s ensure the camera keeps pace with your creativity. When additional storage is needed, the CFexpress Type B slot stands ready.
Refined Appearance
Crafted with an advanced finishing process, the graphite grey matte coating combines exceptional durability with a refined, subtle texture, with the black lettering adding a final touch of distinction. A newly optimised internal structure reduces weight by 7.5% compared with X2D 100C for effortless handling, while the redesigned grip ensures lasting comfort, even on the longest creative journeys.
5D Joystick and Custom Buttons
A 5D joystick beside the touchscreen allows swift focus point selection and intuitive menu navigation. With two new custom buttons, now totalling eight, personalised control is always at your fingertips.
