Overview

The new EF 1.4x II extender replaces the previous (and highly regarded) EF 1.4x extender. New on the EF 1.4x II is added weather-resistance to the front and rear mount surfaces to match the level provided by the EOS-1v and the new IS super-telephoto lenses. New internal anti-reflection construction improves contrast even when shooting in heavy backlit conditions.
