Overview

The Leica Monovid offers outstanding optical performance and, thanks to its compact form of only 105x35mm (8X20) is ideal suited to the needs of:

  • Bird and butterfly watchers
  • Hikers
  • Opera and concert goers / visitors to sporting events
  • Hunters

Its close-up lens (included in the set) allows detail studies from a close distance of only 10-14 inches.  In combination with its 8x magnification, this allows the user to view even the finest structures ("macro effect")

The integration of the optical elements into a tough, nitrogen-filled aluminum body guarantees optimum percision and a long service life.  The lightweight body construction is waterproof to a depth of 5 meters, and ably protects the monocular in rough outdoor conditions.

The Leica Monovid is supplied complete with an attractive leather case with a high-quality belt loop.
