The Sony NP-FV50 InfoLITHIUM V Series Battery Pack (1030mAh, 8.4V) is a replacement or spare battery pack for your compatible Sony camcorder. This InfoLITHIUM battery works with the camera to display remaining battery power, so you're never surprised when out on a shoot. In addition, the NP-FV50 provides a 15% capacity increase over the NP-FH50. When used with an optional AC-VQV10 charger, the FV50 chargers faster than the original battery your camcorder came with.
