Overview

Sony’s system cameras have been well accepted and widely used by OB Trucks, production studios, TV stations, rental companies, and many other users around the world. Presently, many SI, robotics, and panel vendors have integrated SONY’s conventional 700-Protocol onto their system by converting the 700-protocol to IP-based protocol on their own in order to systemize with our camera system. However, with today’s networking environment where TCP/IP has been popular, simpler communication method has been in strong demand. Now, SONY is pleased to introduce the CNA-1 camera control network adaptor that fulfills this demand with its protocol converting capability between the Sony 700-protocol and IP protocol. Using the CNA-1, those third-party SI and vendors can integrate Sony’s system much more easily.
