Overview

Plus Xe Transceiver

The PlusX and PlusXe radios are the simplest PocketWizard radios ever and the perfect entry into the PocketWizard Wireless System. The functions are identical with one exception: the PlusX uses our Legacy firmware only. The PlusXe uses our E Release firmware but can also be downgraded to Legacy firmware for full backwards compatibility. Triggering a flash? Attach one PlusX to your camera, another PlusX to a remote flash using the appropriate flash sync cable, set both radios to the same Channel, and start taking pictures. Triggering a remote camera? Attach one PlusX to a remote camera using the appropriate remote camera cable, set both radios to the same Channel,  and press test on the PlusX in your hand. The PlusX is compatible with all PocketWizard transmitters and receivers, so it’s the perfect companion for your existing radios and new flashes. To change firmware protocol, simply follow a specific sequence on the radio.
