Overview

This new universal folding base is inspired by that formerly supplied with monopod model 434SS. The big new difference is that now this base is available as a stand alone product and can be supplied to work with the monopod models 479, 479 479-4, 434 and the new versions 679, 680 & 681.

Made in aluminium with special high strength steel legs, the base can be attached to the final section of the monopods listed above by three grub screws and two adapter rings of 20 or 25 mm depending on the monopod leg diameter.
There is no reduction of monpod load capacity and the base weighs only 400 gr. Closed height increases by 4 cm, working height by 8 cm.
