Sony ECM-674 Short Shotgun Mic HDV/DVCAM Cameras

The Sony ECM-674 is an affordable shotgun-type electret condenser microphone, which delivers excellent sound performance in field and studio productions. Offering high-sensitivity, low-noise characteristics and flat-and-wide frequency response in a compact and lightweight design. The ECM-674 is well-suited for use with Sony camcorders such as the HDV™ Series, DVCAM™ Series, and XDCAM™ Series. Battery or Phantom Power
The ECM-674 is capable of powering via AA size internal battery or external 48 Volt phantom power. 
 
Super-Cardioid Polar Pattern
The super-cardioid polar pattern is effective in minimizing noise and ambient audio at the off-axis sections of the microphone capsule. 
 
Low Frequency Roll-Off Switch
The 2-position low frequency roll-off switch minimizes low frequency rumble and noise due to wind, proximity effect, ambiance, etc. 
 
Compact Design
