Runtime

Backlit Display shows nominal run-time (25W load), percentage and grid when in standby. The display shows remaining runtime, percentage and grid when under draw and shows remaining charge time, percentage and grid when charging.

USB Power

As with all Core SWX batteries offerings, Core has an integrated P-Tap connector on the side of the battery that allows you to power any 12 VDC device from this port, which isa feature Core SWX had since its first battery 16 years ago. With their "ear to the ground" they also know how important mobile devices are to production and so they are one of the first companies to incorporate a USB port on the packs, providing accessible charging for your mobile devices.

LED Guage

With the LED display on the side of their batteries, you can glance at leftover battery capacity.

Compatible Charging

Hypercore is the most charger compatible in the industry, a primary concern for users who have existing charger hardware. Recognizing this as a critical feature for battery packs in our industry. Core SWX' proprietary on-board fuel computer leverages the Hypercore's "smart" battery platform to take an aggrevate view of the past usage of the battery, charge and discharge performance, to provide the most accurate runtime calculation.

Camera Communication

Hypercore is a "smart" battery pack. Core wanted to make sure it was the most intelligent in the industry. The battery pack is "multilingual" able to communicate to cameras as well as chargers with both one-wire and two-wire protocols.

Rubberized Housing

To provide the cells protection against accidental impacts; the cells are incased in an overmolded, non-slip rubberized housing, something Core SWX has been offering for nearly a decade. All these advancement in the mobile powering space have allowed Core to offer a rating of up to 2000 charge cycles on these packs, currently the best in the industry.

Hibernation

The Hypercore battery packs will go to sleep or hibernate when there is no battery usage or movement after a 48 hour period. The LCD shuts down as well to preserve state of charge. Once you pick up the battery or the battery detects the slightest movement; the battery pack awakens, coming back to life at its maximum capacity. The hibernation function means you no longer have to leave your batteries on the charger at all times, saving energy and being Green.

Storage Mode

To protect self-discharge even more and to help with travel regulations since all lithium-ion battery packs need to be at or below 30%, CoreSWX incorporated "storage mode" into the Helix battery packs. All of the Helix batteries are shipped from the CoreSWX warehouse in storage mode, which reduces the chance of the battery packs being delivered ina fully depleted state of charge as well as reducing service life. When the battery pack is received by the client, they can either fully charge to awake the pack or they can hold down the LCD backlight button for about 20 seconds. The packs can also be placed to go back into storage mode, making this feature furthermore valuable for clients who also travel or ship their production gear via Air.

Smart Tap

As with all CoreSWX brick battery offerings, the Helix series have an integrated P-Tap (Powertap/DTap) connector on the side of the battery allowing you to power any 12 VDC device from this port, which is a feature CoreSWX had since its first battery 16 years ago. With that said, once again through extensive R&D CoreSWX is now offering a "Smart Tap", which will pull all battery data.

Travel Safe
