86mm Solid ND 1.2 Image Enhancer Filter
Key Features:
- Suppresses ultraviolet light waves, reducing bluish cast of daylight when recording video or still photos
- Useful with CCD or CMOS sensors to filter out infrared light pollution that cause color shifts frequently associated with high-definition recording with multi-stop neutral-density filters
- 1.2 neutral density filter effect darkens the image, allowing you to photograph with a longer shutter speed or wider aperture than normally required
- Providing a 4-stop exposure reduction, this filter allows you to control depth of field and convey movement more easily
- Interference coatings limits light that falls on a digital camera sensor to the visible spectrum
- Nano coating offers protection to the filter substrate and results in an improved beading effect when in contact with water for greater cleaning efficiency
- Can be used on top of a separately available SLR Magic Self-Locking Variable Neutral Density 0.4 to 1.8 Filter that features 86mm front filter threads to obtain a 5.3 to 10-stop exposure reduction
- Constructed from optical glass for clarity
- Aluminum-alloy filter ring is durable while remaining lightweight
