Live multi-camera monitoring, quad-channel switching & routing
Confidently manage complex productions with a large, color-accurate 4K HDR DCI-P3 display that’s ideal for directors, technical directors, and camera operators. It’s also a live switcher, capable of playing and recording up to four ISO camera feeds, plus a fifth program channel, all while cueing and switching in real-time.

10-bit industry-standard codecs, CFexpress and more
Record Apple ProRes, ProRes RAW or Avid DNx from SDI or HDMI sources, for immediate post-event turnaround. Record up to 10-bit, 4:2:2 in Apple ProRes, ProRes RAW or Avid DNx codecs. Choose to record to either CFexpress* card internally or to external USB-C media.
User-definable function buttons
Get instant access to up to six frequently-used features – for example monitoring tools, playback modes, LUTs, anamorphic desqueeze – at the touch of a button. Turns the Shogun AV-19 into a professional control surface, optimized for speed, reliability, and personalized workflows in real production conditions.
Transmit and receive NDI HX3
NDI is the industry-leading IP video standard that delivers high-quality, ultra-low-latency, frame-accurate video and audio across standard networks. With built-in Ethernet and native NDI HX3 support, Shogun AV‑19 can send or receive broadcast-quality video, audio, and metadata over a single, standard RJ45 cable – simplifying workflows and enabling powerful, flexible IP-based production.
Professional Monitoring Tools
Shogun AV-19 offers a comprehensive suite of simple, one-touch monitoring tools for focus, framing, and exposure, including focus peaking, zoom (2:1, 1:1), zebras, false color (including ARRI and EL Zone™), frame guides, SMPTE safe areas, grid markers, waveforms, an RGB parade, vectorscope, and flexible 3D/1D LUT support with profile and preset options (including .cube file uploads). Additionally, Shogun Av-19 provides anamorphic de-squeeze monitoring to correct the ratio for anamorphic lens setups. Shogun AV-19 receives LOG signals from the camera and offers real-time LUT (Look-Up Table) preview to approximate what the final graded image will look like in Rec.709 — all while recording in high-quality ProRes, DNxHR, or ProRes RAW. Custom LUTs (.cube files) can be loaded from the CFexpress card or SSD and used in conjunction with the Shogun’s built-in monitoring tools for precise exposure control.

Switch live between cameras or graphics using the responsive touchscreen or physical function buttons, and deliver the perfect feed to stage or as a record of the event, all from a single compact, road-case-ready device.

On set, Shogun AV-19 provides a bright, color-accurate reference display for directors, DITs, and other crew combined with the additional power of quick and easy playback of recorded takes. With a full suite of Atomos monitoring tools, Shogun AV makes it easy to evaluate exposure, focus, color and framing with confidence.

Camera control
Using intuitive, on-screen sliders you can tweak white balance, aperture, shutter speed/angle and ISO. A red edge display indicates when the camera is recording internally, whether triggered by the camera or from the Shogun AV-19. Control is available for most Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Panasonic, and Sony mirrorless cameras over USB-C, and all Z CAM E2 series models (cable required, purchased separately – ATOMCAB018).
Calibration you can trust
Shogun AV-19 supports professional calibration with Calibrite Display Pro HL and Plus HL probes via the Atomos Calibrator app, using the Atomos calibration cable (ATOMCAB018, sold separately). This ensures consistently accurate HDR and Rec.709 monitoring, so what you see on screen is exactly what you deliver.
Pro audio, fully integrated
Shogun AV-19 supports 24-bit/48 kHz PCM audio, accepts two balanced XLR inputs with 48V phantom power for external mics or line sources, and has gain controls, meters, and per-channel delay adjustment. You also get balanced XLR outputs, embedded HDMI/SDI audio, built-in speakers, and a headphone jack for direct monitoring and sync with video.
