Built around a 1” sensor for advanced low-light performance and powered by GoPro's next-generation GP3 processor, MISSION 1 PRO delivers pro-quality video up to 8K60 with enhanced image tuning to capture your cinematic vision without limits. In addition to legendary GoPro durability and awardwinning HyperSmooth video stabilization, it comes with a new battery that lets you continuously record over 3 hours of 4K30 video or 5 hours in 1080p30 Endurance mode. Loaded with pro features, it also captures 4K video at 8x slo-mo, 1080p video at 32x slo-mo and includes 8K Open Gate capture, HLG HDR, 240Mbps bit-rate and 32-bit float audio.

1” Sensor + Advanced Low-Light Performance  

 MISSION 1 PRO utilizes a 1” sensor (1.0-type sensor) that is larger than sensors found in most mobile phones and some compact cameras. The use of this larger sensor results in better low-light performance with less noise than the smaller sensors, making it ideal for capturing cinematic footage in all conditions including dusk, indoor and night shots.

Our Slowest Slo-Mo Ever 

MISSION 1 PRO can capture 4K video at an incredible 240 frames per second that lets you slow down the action and catch every detail of your footage in 8x slow motion. Slow it down even more with 1080p footage at 480 fps for 16x slow-mo. Switch to Burst Slo-Mo for GoPro's slowest slo-mo ever and record 10-second 1080p video clips at 960 fps for 32x slo-mo.

HLG HDR Video

High Bit-Rate

MISSION 1 PRO gives you the option to capture video up to a high 240Mbps bit-rate when your project demands the most detailed and precise imaging possible. You can also use standard bit-rate to minimize file sizes. 

10-Bit Colour + Log Encoding

Choose between standard video at 10-bit or Log encoding at 10-bit with GP-Log2. Capable of displaying over 1 billion colours, 10-bit colour delivers enhanced colour depth, smoother gradations and more realism in your videos. You also have the option of GP-Log2 to retain more details in highlights and shadows while making necessary image corrections in post-production (a lookup table/LUT is provided). 

112°-157° Field of View 

MISSION 1 PRO expands your creative range with a field of view ranging from 112° to an expansive 157° to capture more of the scene in every shot and help immerse the audience in your story. Choose from the linear, wide or SuperView digital lenses for sweeping landscape shots, everyday scenes or POV action footage. 

Timecode Sync

Creators with more than one compatible GoPro can sync them with the exact same timecode to make multi-camera editing a lot easier. It works with Final Cut Pro®, Adobe® Premiere® and other editing software to further streamline post-production.  

50MP Photos + 44MP Frame Grabs 

MISSION 1 PRO takes up to 50MP photos in Single, Interval and Burst modes while giving you the option to let AI automatically adjust settings for night and low-light shots. You can also grab stunning photos up to 44MP from 4:3 8K videos using the GoPro Quik app.   

4K Zoom

Zoom in to 2x to get the shot while maintaining the quality and precision of 4K video resolution. Or get even closer to the action without repositioning yourself or your gear with 4x digital zoom.  

Night Effects

MISSION 1 PRO features 3 Night Effects modes that let you get creative after dark. Star Trails uses the Earth’s rotation and stars to capture beautiful light trails across the night sky. Light Painting lets you create brilliant brush stroke effects with moving light. Vehicle Light Trails uses night-time traffic to record stunning light trail shots.  

Customizable Modes + Interface 

MISSION 1 PRO can be set up exactly how you want it. Add, re-order or hide mode settings to make using your camera as efficient as possible for your production needs. You can also create custom modes to instantly load up your favorite settings for a particular shot whenever you need them. 

4-Microphone Array + Audio Tuning 

MISSION 1 PRO uses 4 microphones for improved stereo recording and wind noise reduction while Audio Tuning lets you adjust sound recording to better fit what you’re capturing. Choose balanced, true to-life sound that’s great for most shots or the Voice setting that enhances vocal clarity while also preserving ambient background sounds. 

32-Bit Float Audio

 MISSION 1 PRO lets you record 32-bit float audio to a separate .wav file for more post-production flexibility and extended dynamic range that virtually eliminates digital clipping. Whether you’re in a quiet setting or crowded street, you’ll get crisp, clear audio without distortion. You also have the option of recording the fully processed MP4 audio as a 24-bit .wav without lossy AAC compression. 

Bluetooth® 5.3 Audio Connectivity 

Bluetooth® audio lets you wirelessly connect MISSION 1 PRO to wireless earbuds and microphones using the latest Hands-Free Profile (HFP) v1.9 with Super Wideband Speech (SWB) standard. Use a wireless mic for enhanced audio when narrating a scene or conducting interviews. By connecting to your wireless earbuds, your GoPro will be able to hear your voice commands in noisy settings or when it’s mounted out of earshot.  

USB-C Audio Support

Simply plug an external USB-C microphone into MISSION 1 PRO’s USB-C port for an easy plug-and-play way to add a separate mic to your gear setup. You can also use a USB-C adapter to connect a 3.5mm microphone or plug in a headphone for audio playback.

Media Mod Performance + Expandability 

Customize your MISSION 1 PRO with an integrated multi-pattern mic array that can be used to capture both mono and stereo audio with beamforming technology that lets you switch between polar patterns to choose the directionality and field of capture for more recording and vlogging versatility. Features a 3.5mm input for an external microphone, 3.5mm input for line-level signals and timecode input, 3.5mm output for headphone monitoring and 2 cold-shoe mounts for near limitless expansion. Also includes a micro HDMI output that supports 4K preview and playback.

ND Filter Compatible

Neutral Density (ND) Filters make it easy to add cinematic motion blur to your footage. Simply attach them to the standard lens and MISSION 1 PRO will automatically adjust its settings accordingly. You can also use them to fine tune your shot based on the lighting conditions. 

Rugged + Waterproof to 66ft (20m) 

MISSION 1 PRO is ready to go anywhere the story takes you, from windy, dusty backroads to underwater adventures all the way down to 66ft (20m) with no protective housing needed. It’s designed to take a beating and still deliver the highest quality footage whether you’re ripping through snow, mud or other extreme conditions.

Simply attach the included lens hood to reduce glare and lens flares in environments with harsh light for clearer images with improved contrast and colour.

Built-in mounting fingers securely attach your camera to GoPro mounts for durable mounting in rough conditions, while 1/4-20 mounting threads can be used with tripods and other standard camera accessories. Highlight Videos Automatically Sent to Your Phone

Simply plug in your GoPro when connected to your home Wi-Fi. While it’s charging, your footage is automatically uploaded to the cloud and used to make a highlight video complete with beat-synced music and effects. Videos are automatically sent to your phone and ready to share.

Live Streaming
