With a maximum aperture of f/1.4, the Summilux-SL 50mm f/1.4 ASPH. delivers the unmistakable Leica image characteristics, offering natural bokeh, exceptional subject isolation, and the freedom to work precisely and expressively in available light. Having a focal length of 50 mm, the lens captures the world as the eye sees it whilst remaining remarkably compact. The lens is always ready to produce images of the highest quality thanks to its precision voice-coil motor, which focuses quickly and quietly. When used with SL-Cameras, it forms a unit that is protected against dust and splash water in accordance with IP54.
