These lightweight straps focus on just the essentials, with various attachment loops to connect accessories. The simple strap contours around the underarm and chest area and twin sternum straps allow a secure fit without putting pressure across the middle of the chest. This style is ideal for adventure photographers with a medium bust and shoulder width.

Shimoda’s series of three shoulder straps is designed specifically for women, constructed around pressure points across the chest and under the arm to provide a secure and comfortable fit. Women’s shoulder strap models feature a new dual-sternum strap configuration which contours and fastens around the chest and relieves unnecessary and uncomfortable pressure. The contoured shapes, positioning of the sternum straps and high-quality materials all compliment the already adjustable torso settings of current Shimoda backpacks. Taken together, the Shimoda system truly provides an exceptionally comfortable and personalized fit.
