Online Policies at Vistek
This agreement contains the terms and conditions that apply to your purchase from www.vistek.ca. Please read these terms and conditions of sale carefully. They contain very important information about your rights and obligations, as well as limitations and exclusions that may apply to you.
By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions, and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Price and Payment Terms.
Your total price for the products will be stated on your purchase receipt. Payment for the products must be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and/or PayPal). Orders are not binding upon Vistek until processed, approved, and invoiced by Vistek. Vistek reserves the right to reject any sale for any reason, including an error or misprint of the product price shown on-line or in the order communication received from our on-line shopping cart system. Prices advertised do not include shipping and handling or applicable sales taxes, which will be added.
Orders are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. A credit card authorization will be processed upon placing your order. We will only charge your credit card at time of shipment.
Shipping and Title
Please note chemicals, certain consumables and oversized items ( eg. Printers, Scanners, Backdrops) may require special shipping and handling charges, or procedures.
Vistek will arrange shipping of the products to your address. Title to the products passes to you upon delivery to the carrier and risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to your address. The costs of shipping and handling will be shown on your purchase receipt. Vistek will inform you of estimated shipment dates, but will not be responsible for delays in delivery due to events beyond its control, including shortage of materials, labor strikes, transportation failure, or acts of God.
Please allow 1-2 business days for processing.
Tracking numbers are e-mailed to customers the day your order is shipping out of our warehouse.
Inspection of Products Upon Receipt.
You must examine the products when you receive them. If any item is damaged or missing, you must notify Vistek at once. Vistek will not consider any claim for damaged or missing items more than fourteen (14) days from the date of delivery.
Online Return Procedure
Vistek's return period is 14 days from the date of your Invoice.
You must contact Vistek at email@example.com or call 1-888-365-1777 prior to making your claim for a return. Please do not mark or sticker the original manufacturer's packaging.
All returned items must be in its original condition along with the complete manufacturer's packaging (even the little plastic bags). This would include: accessories, literature, documentation and unregistered warranty cards.
The original INVOICE must accompany all merchandise being returned for a refund.
Shipping, duty, brokerage and insurance charges are non-refundable; however, we will refund your original shipping cost if the return is a result of our error.
Defective items may be repaired or exchanged at our discretion for the same or manufacturer's equivalent model only.
Manufacturer restrictions: Some manufacturer's policies may not allow us to accept direct returns for defective items or orders dated beyond our 14 day return policy. Vistek may direct you to contact the manufacturer in accordance with their limited warranty.
There will be no returns or refunds issued on the following:
- Underwater housing once submerged
- Printers once ink cartridges are installed, unless there is a manufacture's defect to be determined by the manufacturer. Customer must contact the manufacturer directly.
- Blister-packed items once opened unless there is a manufacture defect to be determined by the manufacturer.
- Original manufacturer computers, computer products and/ or software once opened.
- Non-Stock Special Order merchandise, unless defective.
- All consumables which includes, film, tapes, batteries, paper, chemicals, open ink cartridges, bulbs, CD/DVDs, etc.
Used and Clearance items would be accepted for exchange ONLY.
Custom built computers/Video editing systems (and parts installed) cannot be returned or exchanged but can be repaired through Vistek's Service Department. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Once you have received your order, please inspect your purchase carefully. Claims for damaged / missing items must be received within two (2) business days of receipt of merchandise.
If any of the above conditions are not met, Vistek reserves the right to refuse the return or charge a restock fee of 15 %, at Vistek's sole discretion.
Refunds on returned items which were paid for by credit card will only be made by crediting the account charged for the purchase. Purchases made by cheque or Money Order will take up to two weeks to process the refund
Vistek's gift cards cannot be returned or redeemed for cash.
In store returns for ON LINE SALES
Currently, all of our Locations will accept in store returns for orders placed On Line VIA our web site www.vistek.ca.

Returns will be conducted between the hours of 9AM to 5PM Monday to Friday and 10AM to 5PM on Saturdays. Customers who do not make an appointment for the Return/Exchange may choose to drop off the item(s) for return (as long as the item(s) qualify for the return/exchange, please see the Exchange and Return Policy listed above). However, there will be a 24hr turnaround time, in which case we will email a confirmation that the return has been completed and the refund applied.
